We are designers, engineers, and visionaries who are developing tools for modern people. We are redefining how invoicing should work in modern business.

Our story

We started as a small team of makers who were tired of how complicated finance tools felt. We wanted something faster, smarter, and beautifully simple — built for founders, freelancers, and agile teams who think in action, not spreadsheets.

When we delved deeper, we understood that the problem lies not just in invoicing. The entire financial process is broken. Invoices scattered between Dropbox and emails, expenses in Excel, an accountant on the phone, and tax returns live in their own universe. (Everyone knows this)

There is no space that holds everything together. And that's exactly what we want to change.

Our goal is to create a tool that keeps pace with entrepreneurs... while also tidying up the chaos they operate in today. Something real for founders, freelancers, and agile teams.

We are still not perfect, but we have come a long way. We are developing technology that redefines how invoicing should work in modern business.

Because Lucanto is invoicing that changes the rules of the game.

We care deeply about craft. Every detail matters — not just that it works, but how it works. Lucanto should feel effortless, precise, and beautiful — not overloaded. Some parts aren’t perfect yet, but we’re committed to evolving with intention, not speed.

We do not create for fictional personas. We develop for Jon in Prague or Jakub in Lisbon, whose real problems shape our roadmap. When we ask for feedback, we mean it seriously and we improve things accordingly.

We believe in healthy business. If we want to grow fully and build a product that will function in the long term, we need to have a solid foundation. Profitability gives us the space to constantly improve, invest in quality, support the team and continue on our journey. Lucanto will not be free forever, but it will be fair.
